…In Progress…

Hi everyone,

This past week has been a much quieter week in my studio.

I did finish off the poppy I started.

I now have the fun of trying to take a photo of the poppy in my light box. The red is so intense my camera freaks out. Getting the light balance just right is going to be a challenge.

I have also begun work on the next flower.

It is for now untitled. I hope to be able to discover what type of flower it is before I finish.

Last week was also quiet as I re-charged my creative batteries and began a lot of admin I had to do. Even with painting there is paperwork.
I am also building my new website. It’s taken me a lot longer than I planned, but I want to get it right and that takes time. I am on the homestretch though, so I do hope to be able to have it up and running in the next couple of weeks.

This week is more craft oriented and domestic for me. Keeping it varied though keeps me interested and ensures the laundry gets done!

Whether you’re taking office calls, washing dishes or writing the next chapter of your novel, I hope your week will be full of creative and inspiring moments.

    1. Thank you DJ. 😊
I’m really glad you like seeing the progress.
Painting is more than the finished picture, so I enjoy being able to share the whole process.
